Tiziana goes AQUA!

Dear Girls,

This is Tiziana, 21 years old from Einsiedeln Bennau, a fashion addicted G.irl who dedicates her life to clothes, studying design and fashion and constantly creating her own pieces. She is this week’s Stylish Saturday Girl and we had so much fun shooting her in the trendy AQUA look!

Where did you hear about our event Stylish Saturday?
I saw your pictures on facebook and on your blog and really liked them, so I decided to contact you and participate in this event! I think it’s super cool!

What does fashion mean to you?
I am studying fashion & design in Zürich, just finished my first year and have a second one to go. I love it so much!! It’s a big part of my life and obviously has to be.

Where do you see yourself when you are finished with your studies?
I haven’t planned out my future yet. Because there are so many options, I am a bit overwhelmed by the choice! I could see myself working abroad for a magazine or design my own collections somewhere. Well, let’s see what the future brings…!

What do you love most at G.point?
I completely fell in love with all the accessories you have at G.point! Especially the Chic Alors! bracelets from Paris are amazing. I didn’t want to give them back after the shoot! :)

Style Spy

This week we picked STEFAN, a super talented hair stylist at “Eleven”, Zurich’s coolest hair salon.

At Eleven, you can get the funkiest haircut, have a cocktail and hear the juiciest gossip – all in one place! Isn’t this fabulous?

Stefan is wearing: Hat – Manor, Necklace – LALAoUNIS (available at Grieder), Jacket – H&M (3 years old), Shirt – Stefanel, Scarf – Etro (vintage), Pants -  L.L.Bean, Penny Loafers – Alden

When I get up, I… listen to music and let it inspire my outfit for the day. Sometimes it is colorful, other times more classic sober.

My favorite designer is… Umit Benan, especially his SS11 collection entitled “Home Sweet Home”.

A great outfit must have… form and texture.

Wanna be on STYLE SPY? Send us a few pictures of yourself and show us your very personal style. info@mygpoint.com

Love always,

Hand-stitched in Alicante, Spain, these very special espadrilles are the ultimate fashion statement. Espadrilles are traditionally worn by men and women at the beach, in the city, or on the deck of a boat.

Lika Mimika shoes stand for liberty, ease and primarily simplicity.

I hope you enjoy.

Welcome, Foley+Corinna!!!

I am very excited to bring to G.point New York’s IT bag from FOLEY + CORINNA, the MID CITY TOTE!!!

When I lived in NYC (in my previous life as a consultant) I fell in love with Foley + Corinna’s Mid City Tote, the coolest bag in the world. Every fashionable NYC girl has one in her closet.

And now, for the first time in Switzerland, AVAILABLE AT G.POINT!!!

I let you see for yourself ;-)

This leather tote is made out of velvety soft leather. You can hold it in your hands or fold it and wear it across your body. The shoulder strap is removable. Two large exterior pockets let you organise your life. It is lined in natural cotton and has inside pockets for phone and keys. Sfr.395.00

Here are some of the colors, now available at G.point!

The bag can also be worn crossbody, very practical for ladies on bicycle or mom’s pushing the baby buggy! ;-) See, I always try to think practically for you!

Have a great day! Gabi

A Peace Treaty – wonderful scarves @ G.POINT

A PEACE TREATY is an evolving collection aimed at creating ethically-produced, artisan-level accessories and apparel for the luxury fashion marketplace.

The NATSU collection pays homage to Japanese aesthetics, vintage kimono prints and the bold, bright colors and geometric designs of the Art Deco era. We hope you like the scarves as much as we do.

Ps. They are uni-sex. So common, boyfriends, share the costs ;-) it’s a double-win!

All scarves are between Sfr.230 and 270.00

About A PEACE TREATY
Each season, A PEACE TREATY travels to a particular region and seeks out local village artisans to re-create an authentic accessory, representative of that demographic, creating limited edition handmade accessories. Thus far, A PEACE TREATY has set up projects in seven countries including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, India, Turkey, Bolivia and Peru.
All of the artisans on A PEACE TREATY’s social enterprise projects are employed with above fair trade wages up to eight times the local rates. Working in exchange with artisans and helping to resuscitate small, family-run village crafts businesses at risk of dying out, a large component of APT’s work also involves women’s social empowerment as it employs disabled and widowed women in villages. In addition to supporting the craftspeople in these
selected locations, A PEACE TREATY also donates to Counterpart International’s diverse projects such as bringing medical assistance to Darfurian refugees and Palestinian children, conserving and restoring threatened coral reef ecosystems and fisheries in the South Pacific, and helping with women’s education and reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan.
