Dear SHOE LOVERS (because who isn’t one??!!!)

I have probably the most exciting news of this upcoming season:

G.POINT will have shoes by…….

The shoes will arrive in September and a PREVIEW of the fall/winter styles will follow later (to make mental wishlists )

So today, I got a grand tour of the world of STEVE MADDEN and let me tell you: I have NEVER seen so many shoes in my life!

This is how my mind looked liked when I left the Steve Madden headquarters in Queens, New York this evening.

But let’s start at the beginning. I met the head of international sales, lovely Brian, at their showroom in Midtown Manhattan, where I picked shoes for G.point’s spring/summer 2013 selection.

I fell in love with these super sparkly glitter sandals for next summer!

Another favorite pair! I squeezed my feet into the sample size, hihi, although I never fit! Arrrrgh!

After we made the selection, we went to see the Steve Madden headquarter in Queens, NY. What an impressive place!

The headquarters in Queens is huge! And here is me with the man himself, Mr. Steve Madden! What a success story, this guy. He built his own shoe empire from scratch.

 I promise I will show you more pics of the headquarters and how Steve Madden shoes get designed! It is fascinating! But now, I have to run for dinner!
